So, 2020! That was quite the thing. In early 2020 I was in Chicago, boarding a plane home at the exact time that the Senate was voting on whether or not to impeach Donald Trump…. the first time…. and during my two hour flight (because this is how my brain works) I worked through an entire scenario in which I landed in Minneapolis to discover that the country was engaged in civil war.
This was before the election season really got geared up, before George Floyd was killed, and back when the pandemic was still just whisper of a story…
